I don't agree with the good Abbot's proposal - it's a bit too simplistic. Does he not realize how flawed the Novus Ordo is ,how conducive it is to distortion and abuse - which is a regular occurrence. Does he not know that Paul VI's Novus Ordo Missal does not - not - correspond to anything mandated by Vatican II but was contrived by Annibale Bugnini and his band of liturgical deformers/destroyers - some of whom later regretted what they did. I say this as a priest who celebrated the Novus Ordo for many years having recurring dreams/nightmares about the liturgy until in recent times I caught up with the Traditional Latin Roman Rite (that of my youth). Now I offer the Holy Sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ everyday in private (I'm a cancelled priest!) and no more recurring dreams/nightmares.
