I COULD BE SENT BACK TO PAKISTAN AND TRIED UNDER THE BLASPHEMY LAW THERE BECAUSE OF VATICAN COUNCIL II
I have to go to the Immigration Office to renew my Permesso di Sojjorno (Stay Permit). I have been in Italy for 24 years. I know that I could be expelled from Italy and the Permit could be denied. Since because of my writings on Islam many false charges have been inserted in my record. I often wrote that according to the Bible, Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Islam is not a path to salvation and Mohammad is lost (AG 7, CCC 845.846,1257 etc).
There is a delay in me going to that office since the Missionaries of Charity Contemplative Brothers of Mother Teresa, Prenestina, Rome, misplaced my documents which I kept with them.
So it means I could be sent back to Pakistan and be jailed under the Blasphemy Laws there.
If I do not leave within the notice-period, I could be jailed and then expelled. This is only because I am affirming the same Catholic Faith as everyone else in Italy i.e. Vatican Council II and the Catechism of Pope John Paul II. The Bible is read at Holy Mass and it is part of the Missal of Pope Paul VI.
I still have a Carta di Identita valid for 2027 and so I am legal. This was the only Document needed all these years, to stay at different houses.
When I came to Rome in 2002 with a seminarian Brother Rashid, who is now a priest in the diocese of Rawalpindi, Pakistan, I knew, while we were sitting in the plane that much suffering was ahead of me because of doctrine.Fr. Rashid and Bishop Anthony Lobo did not affirm extra ecclesiam nulla salus aligned with Vatican Council II and the Catechism. So there was no tension for them on this issue.
No one in Pakistan that I know of interprets the Council and Catechism, rationally. –Lionel Andrades
