TOTAL DISAGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VATICAN AND THE SSPX
In Spanish: DESACUERDO DE FONDO ENTRE EL VATICANO Y LA FSSPX
A PERSONAL REFLECTION ON THE SUBJET
Let's consider this: for decades, the Vatican, based on the groundbreaking texts of Vatican II, has stated that heretical and schismatic sects are part of the "Church of Christ"—tacitly denying her identity with the Catholic Church—, that they are instruments of salvation, and that they act guided by the Holy Spirit. It also maintains that all pagan and idolatrous religions are good, worthy of respect, valid paths to God, a source of enrichment for society, and a necessary element for the establishment of "universal fraternity" on earth. And it practices "ecumenism" and "interreligious dialogue" with all of them, systematically and programmatically, which is presented as a priority and indispensable objective, both for the Church and for humanity as a whole. So, what would be the problem with the Vatican "excommunicating" the SSPX? Suddenly, would the Society become the only "schismatic sect" that displeased God and represented an obstacle to salvation? It sounds rather strange, doesn't it? Irony aside, I take this opportunity to emphasize a point that seems crucial to me in this matter and which, in my opinion, constitutes the Lefebvrists' weak point: recognizing the "conciliar popes" and at the same time consecrating bishops against their express will is objectively aberrant and indefensible, since it is clearly incompatible with the divine constitution of the Church, with its divinely instituted hierarchical structure. It is an absurd, incoherent, and highly negative way of acting, since it creates confusion among the faithful and makes the work of the Society (which I consider generally positive) the target of attacks from all sides precisely because of its theological inconsistency in relation to what they consider to be the legitimate ecclesiastical authority. The only coherent attitude in the present circumstances—however difficult it may be to adopt—is to denounce the undeniable apostasy of the modernist conciliar hierarchy, to reject its purported legitimacy, and to proceed with the consecrations without offering any explanations, much less ridiculously requesting its "authorization" to perform them. The conciliar apostasy has been manifest and public for at least forty years, since Wojtyla summoned all the world's religions to Assisi so that each could pray to its "gods" to obtain "peace in the world." That event marked a clear turning point, a blatant break with authentic Catholicism (CV II also did, but it was more difficult to discern without the hindsight we now have). Every Catholic who understands the magnitude of the current crisis (which, in my view, has a distinctly eschatological slant—the apostasy preceding the Antichrist foretold by Saint Paul) is obligated to publicly denounce the conciliar imposture and to do everything in their power to openly defend the faith, which has been outraged and distorted methodically and relentlessly by the pack of modernist heretics who illegitimately occupy positions of authority in the Church. They use these positions to subvert the Catholic faith from within, deceiving the faithful like ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing. With them, there is no negotiation, no dialogue; they have to be unmasked, denounced, and fought openly, opportunely and importunely, calling them by their name: enemies of God, destroyers of the Church, children of Satan, and forerunners of the Antichrist...

I recommend reading the interview with the Superior General of the SSPX: Interview with the Superior General of the … - Much of what he says is correct, and I am glad that he is stating it publicly, since he points out flagrant anomalies of the “conciliar church,” which must be denounced publicly. What is untenable, however—and completely contrary to sound Catholic theology—is to imagine that bishops can be consecrated against the will of a pope considered to be the true pope. Living outside the authority of the Church for decades—while simultaneously recognizing it as legitimate—"dialoguing" with it so that it "retracts" from its persistent modernism, seeking to "convert" it to Catholicism, and trying to make it "return" to the "apostolic tradition" that it supposedly "abandoned" more than sixty years ago, is completely surreal and, above all, incompatible with the divine constitution of the Church and with the nature of the Petrine ministry. I want to clarify that I am decidedly in favor of the episcopal consecrations announced by the Society, firstly to guarantee apostolic succession (current consecrations are, at the very least, dubious because of the new Montini rite of episcopal consecration; see Rore Sanctifica du Comité International de … ), and also so that there will always be priests who continue to celebrate the true Catholic Mass and oppose the errors of Vatican II and its subsequent post-conciliar "reforms" and "magisterium," which are fundamentally flawed because they are the application of the false liberal and modernist principles of the "council" of Roncalli and Montini. However, it is inconsistent—and a source of great confusion for the faithful—to combat the conciliar imposture by employing theological principles that are objectively schismatic and whose result is automatic excommunication. The only coherent stance lies in clearly affirming the non-Catholic nature of the Vatican authorities, publicly denouncing them for their profession of modernism, liberalism, false ecumenism, religious indifferentism, and apostasy from the Catholic faith, the emblematic manifestation of which was the impious and blasphemous interfaith gathering convened by Wojtyla in Assisi forty years ago, and regularly organized since then by his successors. To fail to understand that such an interfaith act entails formal apostasy from the Catholic faith is to suffer from a disturbing, and probably incurable, spiritual blindness.
