A two-metre-high, blood-red sculpture of Jesus Christ holding two Uzi submachine guns is on display at L’Aérosol in Marseille. The blasphemy was made by French provocateur James Colomina. It was initially placed outside the venue before being moved indoors. Colomina claims the armed Christ is an anti-violence statement. #newsObnvrghjid
Bishop Strickland about Vatican 2 and Bishop Lefebvre “GO AND REPAIR MY HOUSE, WHICH, AS YOU SEE, IS FALLING INTO RUIN” Dear Sons and Daughters in Christ, I know that some of you believe I have changed. Some fear that I have crossed over to “the other side.” Some wonder whether, after years of speaking plainly and courageously about the crisis in the Church, defending the traditional Roman liturgy, questioning what was done in the name of the Second Vatican Council, and speaking openly about Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, I am now retreating from those convictions. Some of you may even feel betrayed. So before I say anything else, I want to say this plainly: I have not moved. The words Christ spoke to St. Francis at San Damiano – “Go and repair my house, which, as you see, is falling into ruin” – have weighed heavily upon my heart. I have not forgotten what happened to the Church. I have not forgotten what happened to the sacred liturgy, to Catholic catechesis, to religious life, to priestly …ເພີ່ມເຕີ່ມ
Bishop Strickland "There is a phrase Catholics have heard for more than sixty years. “Vatican II changed that.” Why don’t we hear Latin anymore? Vatican II. Why did the Mass change? Vatican II. Why did Gregorian chant disappear from so many Catholic churches? Vatican II. Why did practices surrounding Holy Communion change? Vatican II. Why did sanctuaries change? Vatican II. Why did so many customs Catholics had known for generations suddenly disappear? Again and again, the answer was simply, “Vatican II.” Those two words became an explanation for almost everything that happened in Catholic life in the years following the Council. But lately I have been wondering whether that explanation is the right one. Not because Vatican II called for no change. It certainly did. But because when we actually sit down and read the documents of the Council, something interesting begins to happen. We discover that some things commonly attributed to Vatican II are not actually in Vatican II. Other things …ເພີ່ມເຕີ່ມ
European bishops sidestep ‘Traditionis Custodes’, continuing traditional Latin Masses in parish churches without Vatican dispensation. Last week, the Dicastery for Divine Worship published all its decrees from 2025, including permissions for the 1962 Roman Missal in parish churches. The list shows permissions for 55 parishes in 33 dioceses. 41 of the parish-church locations in the 2025 decrees are in the United States - about 75%. France is conspicuously absent from the 2025 index despite its importance among Catholics. No parish church in Paris appears among the Dicastery’s published dispensations in 2023, 2024 or 2025. Obviously, there are Masses. In the Paris parish of Saint-Eugène–Sainte-Cécile, the old Mass has been celebrated since the 1980s and remains part of the daily and Sunday schedule. Sainte-Odile also lists a Sunday Mass in the 1962 rite. Another example is London, England. No dispensation for a London parish church appears in the Dicastery’s published indexes for 2023,…ເພີ່ມເຕີ່ມ
The Spiritual Battle for True Womanhood Fr. Altier emphasizes women's inherent value and strength, particularly mothers, highlighting their unique role in creation as the closest beings to God because of their capacity for love. He expresses concern about societal attitudes towards women, particularly in light of a recent case where a woman killed her children, arguing that such actions are a rejection of their divine purpose and a consequence of extreme ideologies. He criticizes the notion that women should have absolute power over life and death, drawing parallels to the biblical story of Adam and Eve and the temptation to be like God. He further states that the decline of society and the church is linked to the erosion of women’s morality, which is seen as the foundation of both. Satan has deceived women into rejecting their true nature and embracing a masculine ideal, leading to societal imbalance and anger. Women are urged to embrace their femininity, reject Satan’s lies, and live …ເພີ່ມເຕີ່ມ
“…the devil, as much as I may find him quite likeable—and he’s certainly not as bad as people make him out to be… perhaps he adds a little spice to people’s lives…” - Fr. Agnello Stoia, Conventual Franciscan and parish priest of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, speaking in this undated video.
Peru tributes Leo XIV with the largest statue in the world. Standing 14 meters tall, the monument will rise in a seafront park in Callao overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The statue depicts Leo XIV with his arms open and is being built around a steel structure with a marble-like exterior finish. The privately funded monument is expected to be installed ahead of the pope’s November visit to Peru. #newsMmvrjnktky
Mercy is the Church’s “calling card” in the world (Pope Francis). September 14 – Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Peter’s “barque”—the Church—which “sails” through time and space to reach the longed-for “harbor” of eternal life, is, at the start of the third millennium, being “tossed about to the left and to the right" by the “strong winds” of ideologies. In this dark moment of human history—which, as some have described it, spews forth the flames of a multifaceted “apocalypse” (virological, climatic, martial, and technological)—the Church needs authentic Christians. Christians, that is, who—by denying themselves and crucifying their “old self,” which is corrupted by deceitful passions—heed Jesus’ call to “care for” everyone, especially the poorest and creation itself, and to “heal” the wounds inflicted by evil using the greater power of His Love.
It is not Social Gathering, It is the Holy Sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father, God offered to God, We have to Union with our Lord in his Passion, Death for the Redemption of our Souls.
‘The Templar Rule Of Order’; ‘The Primitive Rule’; ‘The Names of the Fathers…’; pages 2 The original Latin Rule of Order was penned with the assistance of the young Cistercian Abbott, Bernard of Clairvaux. The rule is very similar to the modified Benedictine rule used by the Cistercian order. This makes perfect sense as the two orders were closely related and linked. The Primitive Rule of the Templars The Names of the Fathers who Attended the Council 6. The same Master Hugues with his followers related to the above-named fathers the customs and observances of their humble beginnings and of the one who said: Ego principium qui et loquor vobis, that is to say: 'I who speak to you am the beginning,' according to one's memory."
Leo XIV Strengthens Papal Control Over Eastern Catholic Patriarchs Today, Leo XIV issued the Motu Proprio Mutua concordia, setting out “an orderly procedure for the removal of a Patriarch from office by the Synod of Bishops” of an Eastern Catholic Church. The new rules allow a synod, for a grave reason, to ask a patriarch to resign. If he refuses, the bishops can proceed to a secret vote on his removal, in which at least two-thirds of the synod’s voting members must take part. The synod does not have the final word. Leo XIV reserved to the Roman Pontiff “the granting of assent to the synodal decision.” The removal only takes legal effect after the Pope gives his assent. #newsVxvvrngosc
LiveLeak #Spain. Thursday 10 September 2026, severe tension and violent clashes erupted at the historic Fossar de les Moreres plaza in Barcelona during an eve-of-the-Diada event hosted by the far-right party Catalan Alliance. Anti-fascist demonstrators surrounded the square to protest the event, which led to a heavily reinforced deployment of the regional police, the Mossos d'Esquadra. The situation quickly escalated into a confrontation when counter-protestors twice attempted to break through security cordons, prompting police officers to deploy batons during a series of crowd control charges.
Pub Meeting (!) and FSSPX Mass Prompt Minnesota Bishop’s Warning Bishop Patrick Neary of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, issued a diocesan warning against the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) after an unauthorized Mass was celebrated in the diocese. In a letter dated September 2, Bishop Neary said he had learned of a social-media post promoting a meeting at the restaurant Opole Pub to “explore bringing the Latin Mass” to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Opole. The same post advertised a Latin Mass for the following day at the Opole Ballpark Pavilion, part of the local baseball grounds. Monsignor Neary wrote that neither event was sanctioned by the diocese. Both, he said, involved a priest of the FSSPX — “a group recently declared by the Holy See to be in schism with the Catholic Church because of the illicit ordination of four bishops without a papal mandate.” The bishop told Catholics not to “support or participate in FSSPX-sponsored activities, including inviting FSSPX priests to …ເພີ່ມເຕີ່ມ

— Boris Johnson, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s top security adviser Günter Sautter, and security advisers from the UK, France, and Italy were aboard a chartered night train from Kyiv when a Russian drone struck the locomotive of a passenger train on the same route near the Polish border, Der Spiegel reports. Their train was stopped and partially evacuated at around 5 a.m. before the all-clear was given. The officials were returning from the YES security conference in Kyiv. megatron
The sky broke open over the Peruvian Amazon, and a teenage girl in a sleeveless summer dress fell out of it still buckled into her seat. She was seventeen. Her name was Juliane Koepcke, and on December 24, 1971, she was supposed to be spending Christmas with her father at a remote research station in the rainforest. She and her mother, Maria, had stayed behind in Lima for one very ordinary reason: Juliane wanted to attend her high school graduation ceremony. That small teenage decision is what put them on LANSA Flight 508 on Christmas Eve. The hop from Lima to Pucallpa was supposed to take about an hour. Roughly twenty-five minutes in, the Lockheed Electra flew into a wall of black weather. Turbulence emptied the overhead bins. Christmas parcels rolled down the aisle. People began to scream. Then lightning struck the aircraft, the right wing tore away, and the plane came apart in the air. Juliane remembered her mother saying, very quietly, that this was the end of everything. And then …ເພີ່ມເຕີ່ມ
