Homosex Scandal: "We Are Determined to Uproot this Evil" - Bishop
Zmarzły was the diocesan editor of the popular Catholic weekly Niedziela (Sunday). According to Wyborcza.pl, “several priests” invited on August 30-31 a homosexual prostitute to the presbytery who, at some point, lost consciousness.
An ambulance was called, but the paramedics were not allowed to enter until the police forced their way in.
According to Z., no other clergy were present at the time of the incident. The other two priests in the presbytery knew nothing of the orgy.
Zmarzły was suspended "pending clarification of the case" and Sosnowiec Bishop Grzegorz Kaszak said in a communiqué that "we are determined to uproot this evil".
On September 21, a criminal set fire to the wooden doors of the basilica in Dąbrowa Górnicza on September 21, but the fire was quickly extinguished.
